My Story
Handmade baskets are a tradition that has been passed on from my mother at early age, I would watch her use her skilled hands to create beautiful pieces. I am inspired to work on designs incorporating nature, geometric patterns, simplicity and the modern minimalist lifestyle with bold colors. The finished piece can be treasured as a truly unique piece of art.
My philosophy is simple, create sustainable functional art to be enjoyed by everyone.
The beautiful designs are inspired by nature and everything around us. Using sustainable raw materials, every piece is handmade with decades old preserved traditional weaving techniques.
Baskets are made with sweetgrass and sisal fibers. The fibers are naturally white and hand dyed to achieve different colors. Weaving starts at the center in a coil process alternating colors to create patterns. Each piece comes with a loops on the back to hang on the wall easily.
